Trevor has a passion for understanding the unique legal concerns of entrepreneurs, tech innovators, and creative artists. Having worked for a large tech company, a small IP boutique, non-profit theatres, and even as a freelance artist and videographer, Trevor brings a breadth of experience that allows him to distinguish between critical and non-critical issues for innovators across a wide variety of fields. He is experienced in key subject matter areas, including data privacy, trademarks, copyrights, asset purchase agreements, software licensing, contract negotiation, and entity formation.

Trevor’s clients, who range from financial start-ups to musicians, turn to him for a variety of needs, ranging from IP portfolio protection and licensing, data privacy, and general business start-up counseling. Whether it is navigating the GDPR or trademark prosecution, Trevor strives to pull from his experience, knowledge, and interest to find effective and efficient solutions. Trevor understands that the key to finding the right answers is asking the right questions.

Trevor received his law degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and his B.A. from Harvard University. His education also included an internship at Google, an internship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and a judicial externship in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. A proud Northwestern alumnus, he coaches the undergraduate mock trial team.
